Middle range (PCA )Presence of prescribed concentration of alcohol – applies to drivers with a blood alcohol concentration of between 0.08 and 0.149 g/100 mL.  A person must not drive a car, while having the mid range prescribed  concentration of alcohol in his/her blood, engage in the conduct outlined for low range PCA.

The maximum penalty is 20 penalty units ($2200) and/or 9 months imprisonment for a first offence, or 30 penalty units ($3300) and/or 12 months imprisonment for a second or subsequent offence.
